Arm Balances, Backbends and Inversions
Working from (and on) your core, this yoga experience focuses on creating the strength you need to sustain arm balances, backbends and inversions. We will play with postures like handstand, headstand, wheel, and similarly deep experiential asana. We recommend that you have some yoga or athletic experience before this class.
Flow (Levels 1, 2, 3, & 1/2, 2/3; Deep, and Strong)
Cosmic Flow classes incorporate fluid transitions from posture to posture and meditative breath work. A flow class links traditional yoga postures with movement, emphasising the vital role of breath in movement. Flow is designed to provide a strong, foundational practice. Advanced levels and the Deep or Strong variations encourage longer holds and focus teaching somewhat more on arm balances, standing twists and inversion. All levels, see schedule for specifics.

Rest and Restore
Restorative yoga is a form of therapeutic yoga designed to give respect and care to the body. This class will teach you how to relax and rest deeply and completely. Props are used to totally support the body in various postures and allow the body to move towards a state of balance, releasing deeply held tension and restoring health. The muscles and bones relax and melt into place, which quiets the mind, allows the nervous system to calm and sooth, and invites the immune system to recover and strengthen. The poses are designed for relaxation, renewal, effortlessness and ease.
