We believe YOGA is a powerful tool for realizing your inner vision. We support and encourage a practice of self-empowerment with our offering of Yogic teaching and classes in an encouraging environment of acceptance and compassion. Yoga is for everyone and our goal is to find a yoga practice that works for you!
Cosmic Dog Yoga is located in downtown Livermore, California. Our studio is minutes from the Livermore wine country as well as Interstate 580. We offer a variety of teachers and teaching styles to suit everyone with an interest in yoga. Our instructors are knowledgeable, welcoming and kind. Rest assured, if it is a challenging practice you seek, we offer a variety of classes to challenge even the most seasoned yogis. We offer introductory classes, advanced classes and teacher training. Most of our classes are vinyasa style, linking each posture with movement and breath, but you will find variety with each individual instructor. Cosmic Dog Yoga fosters an all-inclusive community centered around supporting each individual member.
We welcome students brand-new to yoga. If you're curious about yoga but haven't figured out "where to start", you're in the right place. We offer intro classes for anyone with no prior experience to yoga which will absolutely teach the essentials in a compassionate environment free of judgment! Cosmic Dog Yoga is excited to welcome back Dr. Baxter Bell for this relevant topic for all of us! We'll look at the reasons for developing healthy eating habits, the research on how yoga and meditation support our efforts, and try out some simple, accessible practices to add to our home practice to start us on our healthy way. Appropriate for students of all levels.
