“Yoga gives us a safe avenue to face our fears and meet new challenges every day. I believe that is a vital component to spiritual growth.” - Mollie
Mollie’s classes start off gentle and soothing. Her voice is encouraging and positive. Half way through, you notice the bead of sweat dripping off of your elbow and realize you’re working far more intensely than you realized! Mollie teaches a Flow I class here at the studio and she has a gift for making her sequences accessible and challenging at the same time. Mollie provides many options, allowing both advanced and beginning practitioners to participate at their edge. Mollie fuses many techniques to build physical strength, endurance, relaxation, flexibility, and a calm focused mind – all key ingredients to a dynamic and enjoyable yoga experience. She keeps the room slightly warmer than room temperature and plays an eclectic mix of music ranging from classical to hip-hop. Mollie strives to make the practice of yoga vigorous and fun, and believes that everyone should view the world upside-down whenever possible. If you’re lucky, you can peek in on her after class and catch her in one of her trademark handstands.
Mollie has a background in gymnastics and spent years as a fitness instructor. She went on to graduate from the Advanced Studies Program at Downtown Yoga, where she studied advanced Iyengar and vinyasa yoga techniques under instructor Kate Coughlin.

Mollie lives with her husband and two daughters in Livermore, and seems to know everybody in town! She loves to bake, and is obsessed with dark chocolate.
